Hi friends,
I’m Grace Harrington. And God has blessed me with an incredible opportunity.
This October, God has called me to participate in a counseling training school in YWAM Perth. This is the same place I fell in love with God a few years ago, realizing God is relational, intimate, and worthy of my life. Feeling God’s call to be in missions for a couple years ignited a passion to live my life loving and obeying God. So to be able to see God’s hand in this opportunity to grow in counseling skills and practical training, while serving God and taking those skills to the nations, is a privilege that I am still understanding the depth of.
It is a 6 month training, with 3 months of lectures, skills training, workshops, and role plays. The other 3 months are the missions aspect, where we go into the nations. Previous schools have gone to Uganda and Greece to work with refugees. God has called me to discipleship, and He has opened this door to grow specific skills in counseling to walk alongside people who are broken and hurting so they can know the love and healing of Jesus Christ.
This training counts as my university internship as well, which helps me graduate with my BS in psychology. I have to raise $8,500 USD in order to be trained in counseling and serve the nations. God is my Provider and I know since He has called me to this, He will provide. But I wanted to ask if you personally would join me on this time of trusting God for provision. Provision of finances, of spiritual maturity, of practical skills, of growth in my relationship with Jesus. And just wanted to say thank you for being a part of this. Community is a gift and a blessing, and I am thankful to be able to know you.
I am excited to share this adventure with you! Visit or subscribe to my blog to keep up with what God is doing through this time.
