That’s right, God is sending a team to the Philippines for outreach in a few short months! How good is our God?! I will be co-leading this team with another awesome staff on our DTS, Alex. We will be heading to Manila, which is the capital of the Philippines. While we are there, we will be focusing on slum ministry. Thank you to everyone who has been praying and supporting me. Keep the prayers coming as the outreach approaches!
And here is a short update on the past 3 weeks in Perth.
After Visa troubles, God provided a visa and a relatively cheap plane ticket in His perfect timing. I am back on staff with YWAM Perth, leading students in their relationship with the Lord and living life with them on a daily basis. There are 18 students and 6 staff members. We meet every morning to pray for the students and the school and to start the day off with our wonderful Savior. Then we move into class time, where guest speakers come in every week and speak on different topics relating to the Bible and the character of God. This current week is on Repentance and Forgiveness. The afternoons consist of work duties, as well as completing staff duties.
But my favorite part is meeting with the students and hearing how the Lord is working in their hearts. Our God transforms hearts, and it transforms mine being able to watch others experience God’s presence. Discipling the students is humbling me in the best of ways. They teach me so much without even realizing it. God has blessed me with incredible students and an incredible staff team. The Lord is working so evidently within this team, and I cannot wait to see how He continues to do so.
